Court rejects Cabeza de Vaca's injunction: orders his accounts to remain frozen

A federal tribunal in Mexico has revoked an amparo previously granted to Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, the former governor of Tamaulipas. The court's decision orders the maintenance of his frozen bank accounts.

The accounts had been blocked by Mexico's Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF). With the reversal of the legal protection, the financial restrictions against the former governor remain in effect.
