Crew members abandoned boat with nearly 3,000 units of contraband liquor at the Costa Rica-Panama border

Authorities in Costa Rica intercepted a boat carrying 2,916 units of contraband liquor on the Sixaola River, located on the border with Panama in the Talamanca canton of Limón. The vessel was abandoned by its crew during a joint operation conducted by the Border Police and the Fiscal Control Police.
