KINGSTON, Jamaica—The Meteorological Service of Jamaica says isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected across western parishes and hilly areas on Saturday. According to the MetService, a tropical wave is expected to quickly move westward and away from the island Friday night while a weak trough is projected to remain thereafter. However, another tropical wave is expected to move across the island on Sunday evening.
Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected across southwestern parishes and hilly areas on Sunday and Monday. Tuesday is expected to be cloudy in the afternoon with showers and thunderstorms across sections of most parishes. Meanwhile, Dolly is now an open tropical wave and is expected to bring heavy rainfall across the Leeward Islands Saturday through Sunday.
