Trump administration begins construction on Texas's Big Bend border wall

The Trump administration has officially begun construction on a portion of the U.S.-Mexico border wall running through the Big Bend region of southwest Texas. Customs and Border Protection confirmed on Friday that the installation of 30-foot panels is already underway.

The project moves forward despite significant pushback from local leaders in the area who opposed the construction.
