Trump administration moves to deregulate Head Start, opening door for sweeping change

The Trump administration is moving forward with a sweeping overhaul and deregulation of Head Start, the 60-year-old federal early education and anti-poverty program for the nation's poorest children. The initiative involves tossing out many of the program's long-standing regulatory hallmarks in an effort to slim down the program and save money.
