Trump says he'll award fireballer Roger Clemens the Presidential Medal of Freedom

President Donald Trump announced Wednesday night during a campaign rally in San Antonio that he will award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to former Major League Baseball pitcher Roger Clemens. During the event, Trump praised the seven-time Cy Young Award winner, describing him as "maybe the greatest pitcher of all time."

The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the nation's highest civilian honor. Clemens, known as a fireballer during his career, is set to receive the award from the sitting U.S. president following Trump's public declaration in Texas.
