Trump on the truce between Kyiv and Moscow: "There is an agreement because I have said there is an agreement"

On Monday in Washington, U.S. President Donald Trump affirmed that an energy truce between Russia and Ukraine, which he announced a day prior, is fully in effect. Trump asserted the existence of the pact by stating that an agreement has been reached because he declared it.

Despite the U.S. president's insistence that the energy truce is active, Moscow has not officially confirmed its stance regarding the arrangement.
