Turkey, Egypt, Saudi, Pak affirm Riyadh’s right to self-defence amid Houthi attacks

The foreign ministers of Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan issued a joint statement affirming Riyadh's right to self-defense against ongoing Houthi attacks. The declaration, made on Tuesday, emphasizes that Saudi Arabia's defensive measures are in line with international law.

In addition to supporting Riyadh's security, the ministers underscored the critical need to maintain safe navigation throughout the region. They expressed deep concern over the persistence of ongoing regional conflicts and emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy represent the only viable path to achieving sustainable solutions.
