Türkiye arrests over 8,000 in organized crime operations

In the first nine months of 2026, Turkish authorities conducted 1,741 security operations targeting 625 emerging and organized criminal groups across the country.

The nationwide crackdowns resulted in the arrest of 8,170 individuals. The figures regarding the operations and arrests were detailed by the Turkish Interior Ministry.
