Türkiye, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia deepen joint defense framework

On Monday, Türkiye, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia formally agreed to deepen their joint defense framework and collective deterrence under the newly instituted Mecca Agreement. The tripartite pact involves taking new steps to strengthen regional solidarity and institutionalize long-term defense cooperation.

As part of this expanded agreement, the three nations will establish a permanent secretariat located in Saudi Arabia. This administrative body is designed to oversee and coordinate the deepened defense and deterrence initiatives agreed upon by the participating countries.
