Twelve killed as Polish bus veers off Hungarian motorway

A Polish tourist bus veered off the M3 motorway in Hungary and overturned into a ditch at approximately 01:00 local time on Sunday. The accident resulted in twelve fatalities and left dozens of passengers with serious injuries. The motorway where the incident occurred serves as a primary transit route connecting Budapest to the city of Nyíregyháza.
