KINGSTON, Jamaica—Two men were arrested in connection to the seizure of a Glock 21.45-calibre pistol with an attached magazine containing six .45-calibre cartridges during an operation at the intersection of Third Street and Third Avenue in Greenwich Town, St Andrew, on Saturday, July 25. Their identities have not been revealed. Reports from the Hunt’s Bay Police are that about 10:45 pm, during a joint police-military operation, a motor vehicle was signalled to stop.
The driver complied, and both occupants were searched. During the search, the firearm and ammunition were found in the possession of one of the men.
