NewzMANCHESTER, Jamaica— Two men died in a two-vehicle crash on the New Forest main road in south Manchester Wednesday morning. Preliminary reports are that about 7:00 am the men were travelling on a motorcycle when it collided with a Honda motorcar. The crash resulted in both men being flung from the motorcycle upon impact.
The police Area Three Accident Investigation and Reconstruction Unit is probing the crash. Statistics from the police show that up to 6:00 am on Wednesday 199 fatalities from 172 collisions were recorded on the nation’s roads compared to 238 fatalities from 207 collisions for the corresponding period last year.
