Two last bodies recovered in Kavieng from ENB boat tragedy returns home

The final two bodies recovered from the East New Britain boat tragedy have been returned to the province, arriving at Tokua Airport nearly a month after the fatal incident.

Identified as the 14th and 15th victims, these remains were recovered in Kavieng, concluding the recovery operations following the disaster involving twenty-seven boats.

The return of the bodies marks a significant milestone in the aftermath of the tragedy, bringing closure to the affected communities in East New Britain after weeks of searching and identification efforts.
