Two memorials of 1962 war heroes figure in 27 places formally named in Arunachal

The Union government has formally designated twenty-seven locations across Arunachal Pradesh to honor Indian Army personnel. Among the sites selected for recognition are memorials dedicated to Havildar Shere Thapa and Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, both of whom are recognized for their bravery during the 1962 conflict.
