Two teenage boys have been sent forward for trial regarding the murder and robbery of Alex Coughlan. The judicial proceedings follow allegations that the two suspects arranged a meeting with the victim via the Grindr application.

Coughlan sustained fatal injuries during an assault in the Blanchardstown area. He succumbed to his injuries three days after the alleged attack, prompting the ongoing legal actions against the two youths.
