Typhoon Narra: record flood waters submerge homes and force mass evacuations in China

Typhoon Narra has triggered widespread flooding in southern China, submerging homes and forcing mass evacuations following record flood waters. The severe weather event caused significant disruption in the region.

In addition to the immediate impact in China, heavy rain is expected to affect parts of Vietnam and southern China as the weather system progresses. Meanwhile, a separate storm system, Typhoon Saudel, is currently tracking toward Japan and Taiwan.
