Typhoon Saudel heads west after pounding Japan's southwestern remote islands, injuring 2

Typhoon Saudel is moving west over the East China Sea toward the eastern coast of China following a path that impacted Japan's southwestern remote islands, including Okinawa. As of Wednesday morning, the storm was located approximately 180 kilometres northwest of Okinoerabu island, sustaining wind speeds of up to 144 kph.

The storm caused two minor injuries and resulted in significant infrastructure disruptions across the region, including power outages and flight cancellations. Authorities have also issued warnings regarding the potential for landslides as the typhoon continues its trajectory.
