U.S. says Chinese hackers broke into Justice Department, NASA, Federal Reserve, Senate

The United States government has announced that Chinese hackers successfully breached several major federal institutions, including the Justice Department, NASA, the Federal Reserve, and the Senate.

According to an affidavit, the perpetrators have utilized custom-developed tools to compromise critical infrastructure and sensitive networks across the United States and globally since at least 2018.
