Ubisoft plans to reward players who choose to continue playing Rainbow Six Siege instead of participating in the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI, which is scheduled for November 19. The initiative was announced by Joshua Mills, who has served as the creative director of the video game since early 2026.

The strategy aims to retain the title's user base during the high-profile release period of the competing game.
