Uefa and Concacaf ask Gianni Infantino to give Fifa’s billions to its member associations

The leaders of UEFA and CONCACAF have formally written to FIFA President Gianni Infantino, requesting the release of billions of dollars from FIFA's financial reserves to its 211 member associations. The joint demand asks that each member association receive a payout of at least $10 million over the 2027 to 2030 cycle.

According to the provided reports, the proposed payout would draw from FIFA's reserves, which are estimated at between $2.1 billion and $6 billion (£4.5 billion). The leaders have requested that their plan be considered by the FIFA Council.
