Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) has halted its intake of international undergraduate students in order to prioritize the admission of Bumiputera students from B40 low-income households.

According to Vice-Chancellor Shahrin Sahib @ Sahibuddin, the institution remains committed to improving its standing in the QS World University Rankings, with a goal of rising from its current position of 549th to among the world's top 300 universities.
