Ukraine's amputee veterans celebrate independence day with grueling endurance challenge

Military amputees and war veterans in Ukraine marked Independence Day by completing a grueling endurance race spanning more than 1,500 kilometers (930 miles) across the country. The participants finished the extensive journey on Monday at a lake located just outside the capital city of Kyiv.
