A hit-and-run disrupts service on 6 Rodalies lines between Barcelona and Tarragona

A fatal train collision involving a pedestrian occurred on the morning of August 3 in the province of Tarragona, Spain. The incident took place between the stations of Cunit and Sant Vicenç de Calders, forcing a complete suspension of rail traffic in both directions. The disruption impacted six Rodalies lines, specifically affecting the R2 Sud, R13, R14, and R15 routes.

Following the intervention of emergency services, rail operator Adif partially restored service by reopening one track to media distancia trains.
