Honduras: A mother is under investigation for allegedly burning her 13-year-old son as punishment after an incident with his younger brother.

Honduran authorities are investigating a mother in Roatán, Islas de la Bahía, for the alleged physical abuse of her 13-year-old son. The investigation was initiated after the 13-year-old and his 4-year-old brother were admitted to a medical facility this past Friday following an incident in which the mother reportedly burned the older child as a form of punishment.
