UN food agency halves West Bank aid because of funding shortages, warns new cuts may be needed

The United Nations' food agency announced on Tuesday that it is halving food aid in the Israeli-occupied West Bank due to severe funding shortages.

In addition to the reductions in the West Bank, the agency warned that it may be forced to implement further cuts in Gaza, where it currently provides support to 1.5 million people.
