A new earthquake in the early hours was felt in seven municipalities despite being of a magnitude less than 2

A seismic event with a magnitude of 1.9 occurred in the early hours of Sunday, August 30, with its epicenter located four kilometers deep near the municipality of Huétor Vega in the province of Granada, Spain. The tremor was recorded at 0:48 a.m. by the National Geographic Institute (IGN).

Despite the low magnitude of the earthquake, the movement was felt across seven different municipalities in the region. There have been no reports of significant damage or injuries resulting from the geological activity.
