Feijóo ‘recruits’ 9 regional councilors and Vox includes a poet and Ortega Smith’s former press officer as independent candidates for the Senate: these are the final lists for the general elections

The final candidate lists for the upcoming general elections have been established, revealing notable selections by both the Partido Popular (PP) and Vox. PP leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo has incorporated nine regional ministers (consejeros autonómicos) into his party's electoral lists.

Simultaneously, Vox has integrated independent figures into its Senate lists. Among these independent candidates are the Cádiz-born poet Enrique García Maiquez, José Luis Aguirres (former Vox vice president in Valencia), and three journalists, including Alba Moreno, who previously served as the head of press and collaborator for Javier Ortega Smith in the Madrid City Council.
