A family of owls has established a home inside an elevated water tank in the Upper West Side neighborhood of Manhattan, near Central Park, captivating local residents.

Initially, neighbors noticed an unusual high-pitched screeching sound coming from the rooftops after dark before eventually spotting the silhouettes of the birds atop the water tower.
