A girl survives after surgery at the INSN Breña to remove a 6 cm stone stuck in her esophagus

A twelve-year-old girl has successfully survived a complex surgical intervention at the INSN Breña to remove a six-centimeter stone lodged in her esophagus.

The minor had remained with the large foreign object stuck in her throat for several days, which completely prevented her from swallowing before the medical team performed the extraction procedure.
