¿Una OPDE peruana? Minedu propone una Oficina de Protección que evaluará la expulsión de alumnos por faltas graves

Peru's Ministry of Education (Minedu) has proposed the creation of the Office for the Protection of the Educational Community (OPCE). This new body is designed to monitor cases of school violence and verify the measures adopted by educational institutions.

The initiative includes evaluating the expulsion of students who commit serious infractions. The proposal draws comparisons to a Peruvian version of an OPDE, establishing a formalized administrative mechanism to address severe disciplinary issues within schools.
