The independence movement is regaining momentum in the streets, but the Aliança factor is exacerbating its division.

Approximately 45,000 people participated in the pro-independence demonstration in Barcelona during the Diada on September 11, according to official figures from the Guardia Urbana. The protest, organized by the Assemblea Nacional Catalana (ANC) under the slogan 'Hi soc. Hi som. Independència' (Estoy ahí. Estamos ahí. Independencia), drew 17,000 more attendees than the previous year's event.

Across multiple locations, including Barcelona, Girona, and Amposta in Tarragona, a combined total of over 57,000 individuals participated in the triple demonstration convened by the ANC.
