Ungheni bridge linking Romania and Moldova over Prut River reaches 56% completion

Construction of the bridge across the Prut River connecting Romania and Moldova has reached 56 percent completion. The project, overseen by the Romanian Road Infrastructure Administration Company (CNAIR), serves as a critical cross-border infrastructure link between the two nations.

The initiative is valued at approximately 151 million Romanian lei, excluding value-added tax. This development marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to improve connectivity and transport logistics between Romania and Moldova.
