Uno de cada cinco niños en el mundo vive en zonas de guerra y conflictos

According to the latest estimates from the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), one in every five children worldwide is currently growing up in areas affected by war and armed conflict. This unprecedented figure was recently highlighted and disseminated by the UNHCR Foundation in Argentina.

The findings underscore a severe and widespread global crisis affecting minors living in active conflict zones. The data illustrates the growing vulnerability of children globally as they are increasingly exposed to the direct and indirect impacts of armed violence.
