Unvaccinated children, elderly face much higher risk of major flu complications: official

Unvaccinated children and elderly individuals face a four to five times higher risk of serious complications or mortality from influenza infections compared to those who are vaccinated, a Hong Kong health official has warned.

The warning comes as influenza cases in the city continue to rise.
