(URGENT) Nuclear safety watchdog approves 10-yr life extension for Kori units 3, 4 reactors

South Korea's nuclear safety watchdog decided on Tuesday to approve a 10-year lifespan extension for the Kori units 3 and 4 reactors.

The regulatory approval allows the two nuclear power units to continue operations beyond their initial operational design periods, following a review by the country's nuclear safety authorities in Seoul.
