(URGENT) PM says gov't to relocate central gov't agencies remaining in Seoul to Sejong starting next year

South Korea's Prime Minister announced that the government plans to relocate the remaining central administrative agencies currently based in Seoul to the city of Sejong. According to the statements, the major bureaucratic relocation process is scheduled to begin in the year 2027.

The initiative addresses the ongoing decentralization of government functions away from the capital region. By shifting the remaining ministries and administrative bodies to Sejong, the administration aims to further establish the planned city as the nation's primary administrative hub.
