The report suggests that Moroccan security forces played a role in facilitating the crossing, a finding that both political figures have interpreted as evidence of Moroccan involvement in the crisis.

While Maíllo explicitly stated that the document supports his thesis regarding a clear connection between the Moroccan authorities and the event, Urtasun expressed a more cautious stance. Despite his call for prudence, Urtasun acknowledged that some form of responsibility on the part of Morocco appears evident in light of the police findings.
