US$2 Billion Medical City to Turn Lusaka into Southern Africa’s Health Tourism Hub

The Zambian government has signed a US$2 billion memorandum of understanding with DIHAD Sus to construct a Medical City in Lusaka. The project is intended to establish Zambia as a regional centre of excellence for health tourism within Southern Africa. The agreement was formalized by Health Minister Professor Roma Chilengi.
