US accuses Chinese exporters of masterminding ‘Great Transshipment Scam’

The United States government released a 25-page report on Thursday formally accusing Chinese exporters of orchestrating a large-scale system of illegal transshipment. The administration alleges that these exporters have routed goods through more than 40 third-party countries to circumvent US tariffs, labeling the operation the “Great Transshipment Scam.”
