US dollar exchange rate against Iraqi dinar rises in Baghdad, drops in Erbil

On Tuesday, the exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar experienced divergent movements in two major Iraqi cities. In Baghdad, the federal capital, the dollar rate registered a slight increase on the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges.

Conversely, the exchange rate for the US dollar declined in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region of Iraq. The simultaneous rise in Baghdad and drop in Erbil highlights the regional variations within the country's currency exchange markets.
