US military says 100 ships redirected in past 2 months of Iran blockade

Over the past 60 days, the US military has redirected 100 commercial vessels as part of an ongoing naval blockade enforced against Iran, according to statements released by US Central Command (Centcom).

Centcom emphasized the strict enforcement of the blockade, stating that zero ships have been permitted to pass through without explicit authorization from US forces. The measures have resulted in the pushback or redirection of all targeted commercial traffic attempting to navigate the affected waters during this two-month period.
