US Supreme Court won’t halt $656 million judgment against Palestinians over terror attacks

The United States Supreme Court has declined to halt a $656 million civil judgment against the Palestinian Authority and the Palestine Liberation Organization. Justice Sonia Sotomayor rejected an emergency request to freeze the damages sought by the cash-strapped Palestinian leadership.

The underlying legal case is a civil suit brought on behalf of American citizens who were killed or injured in a series of terror attacks in Jerusalem during the Second Intifada.
