Users rate the first day of the Metro without transfers as positive

This past Monday marked the first day of full commercial operation for the extension of Line 2C of the Santo Domingo Metro, connecting the sector of Los Alcarrizos directly to the María Montez station at kilometer 9 of the Duarte Highway.

The launch eliminated the mandatory transfer previously required at the María Montez station for passengers traveling from Los Alcarrizos, enabling seamless transit along the route.

Commuters and passengers gave the initial day of direct service a positive evaluation, highlighting that the removal of the transfer allows travelers to save up to 20 minutes in travel time during their daily commutes.
