The PSOE accuses PP deputy Ana Vázquez of emptying a can of spray paint in Congress

On September 23, a dispute emerged in the Spanish Congress involving PP deputy Ana Vázquez and the use of a pepper spray canister. PSOE spokesperson Montse Mínguez accused Vázquez of discharging the substance within the legislative facilities, an act that reportedly led to the closure and sealing of several bathrooms and areas within a congressional building.

Vázquez has publicly denied these allegations. While she acknowledged possessing a pepper spray canister, which she displayed inside the hemicycle, she rejected any responsibility for the incident that prompted the security measures taken by the Chamber's presidency.
