VIDEO: US raises travel warning for Ceuta to level 3 after massive influx of migrants from Morocco

The United States Department of State has raised its travel advisory for Ceuta to Level 3, advising citizens to reconsider travel to the city. This decision follows a mass migration event on Thursday, during which approximately 50,000 individuals attempted to cross from Morocco into the Spanish territory.

Local authorities, represented by the government delegate in Ceuta, Miguel Ángel Pérez Triano, have reported that 72 migrants died while attempting to make the crossing during this surge. While the advisory for Ceuta is now at Level 3, the U.S. government maintains a Level 2 advisory for the remainder of Spain.
