Vierde regionale hittegolf van het jaar voorbij, maar vijfde al in aantocht

The fourth regional heatwave of the year has concluded in the southern Netherlands following a maximum temperature of 24.1 degrees Celsius recorded in Maastricht on Friday. The event lasted for approximately one and a half weeks.

Despite the end of this period, meteorological conditions indicate that a fifth regional heatwave is already developing. Forecasts suggest that the respite from high temperatures will be brief before the next heatwave begins.
