From the air, a trail of destruction along Nepal’s Trishuli River flood disaster zone

More than one week after devastating floods tore through Nepal, severe weather events have left a trail of destruction along the Trishuli River disaster zone. The disaster has erased villages and reshaped local valleys, leaving some of the hardest-hit areas entirely cut off by road.

In response to the blocked ground routes, aerial assessments via helicopter have been utilized along the Trishuli River. These flights provide a clear view of the disaster zone, documenting the sheer magnitude of the devastation that remains largely inaccessible by traditional land transportation.
