Von der Leyen points out that the "vast majority" of those who crossed into Ceuta returned to Morocco

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated on Saturday that the vast majority of the approximately 70,000 individuals who irregularly crossed into Ceuta in recent days have returned to Moroccan territory.

The statement highlights the resolution of the recent border influx into the Spanish enclave, noting that the returning population constitutes the overwhelming majority of those who made the crossing.
