Aleksandar Vucic conceded defeat to the Student List in the Serbian elections

Populist nationalist Aleksandar Vucic, who has been a dominant figure in Serbian politics for twelve years, acknowledged on Sunday in Belgrade that the opposition Student List has won the legislative elections with a wide margin.

Vucic conceded the defeat before his supporters in the Serbian capital, marking a significant political shift after more than a decade of his leadership.
